Parkland Community Health Plan, Inc.
Carries the name that has provided convenient, affordable, and caring health care for over a century.
Parkland Community Health Plan, Inc. (PCHP) is a Dallas-based regional managed care organization that was created to serve as a bridge connecting the community's uninsured population to programs and services designed specifically for them, including Medicaid Managed Care and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). PCHP is an integral part of Parkland Health and Hospital System which also includes Parkland Memorial Hospital, Community Oriented Primary Care and the Parkland Foundation.
We work with nearly 1,900 health care providers and organizations, including 30 hospitals and medical centers.
Our service area covers Dallas, Collin, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro and Rockwall counties.
We offer Parkland HEALTHfirst for Medicaid. If you're not on Medicaid, Parkland KIDSfirst will cover your children ages eighteen and under.
As of January 1, 2007 we have also been participating in the
CHIP PERINATAL PROGRAM. Click here for more information.
National Provider Identifier (NPI)
By May 23, 2007, all providers must apply for and be assigned a National Provider Identifier (NPI) by the Federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS). PCHP will follow traditional Medicaid guidelines on the use of the NPI on claim forms.
